Molecular RecipesCream Whipper – Molecular Recipes http://www.molecularrecipes.com/molecular-gastronomy-forum/topic/cream-whipper/feed Tue, 11 Mar 2025 21:26:56 +0000 http://bbpress.org/?v=2.5.14-6684 en-US http://www.molecularrecipes.com/molecular-gastronomy-forum/topic/cream-whipper/#post-10180 <![CDATA[Cream Whipper]]> http://www.molecularrecipes.com/molecular-gastronomy-forum/topic/cream-whipper/#post-10180 Fri, 08 Aug 2014 08:45:59 +0000 DavidCoombs I have recently purchased a 1/2L cream whipper but am having problems with the pressure. When I follow recipes and watch videos of the recipes the foam comes out of the whipper in a nice smooth and controlled way. When I try it, the foam/cream comes firing out and blasts all over the place. I only ever use 1 gas cartridge but it always seems like the pressure is too high. Do you have any advice or tips? Thank you. D

I somehow missed your post. Did you purchase the iSi brand? Maybe you are over whipping it. Only shake it 2 or 3 times and rest it upside down. Don’t shake again when serving. It seems that the contents are not moving to the top of the bottle when you place it upside down for serving. I hope this helps!
